The severe thunderstorm which prompted the warning has moved out of
the warned area. Therefore, the warning has been cancelled.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 900 PM CDT for central Iowa.

...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 645 PM CDT
FOR NORTHERN POWESHIEK AND SOUTHEASTERN TAMA COUNTIES...

At 611 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Malcom, or 9
miles east of Grinnell, moving northeast at 60 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Grinnell, Holiday Lake, Malcom, Chelsea, Elberon, and Vining.

This includes Interstate 80 between mile markers 186 and 189.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 900 PM CDT for central Iowa.
