...A TORNADO WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 515 AM CDT FOR
NORTHWESTERN POLK...SOUTHWESTERN STORY...SOUTHEASTERN BOONE AND
EASTERN DALLAS COUNTIES...

At 501 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located over Saylorville Lake, or near Johnston, moving east at
40 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
         shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage
         to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree damage is
         likely.

This dangerous storm will be near...
  Ankeny, Polk City, and Alleman around 505 AM CDT.

Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include Big
Creek State Park, Margo Frankel Woods State Park, Sheldahl, Alleman,
and Ankeny Regional Airport.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 35 between mile markers 90 and 105.
 Interstate 80 near mile marker 128.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest
floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a
mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter
and protect yourself from flying debris.
