...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Iowa...

  Wapsipinicon River near Anamosa Shaw Rd affecting Cedar, Linn and
  Jones Counties.

...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Iowa...

  Wapsipinicon River at Independence affecting Buchanan and Linn
  Counties.

  Wapsipinicon River near De Witt 4S affecting Clinton and Scott
  Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

Stay tuned to further developments by listening to your local radio,
television, or NOAA Weather Radio for further information.

The next statement will be issued by Tuesday afternoon at 300 PM CDT.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL EARLY SATURDAY MORNING...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Wapsipinicon River near Anamosa Shaw Rd.

* WHEN...Until early Saturday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 18.0 feet, Moderate Flood Stage. Multiple village and
  township roads are closed.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:15 PM CDT Monday the stage was 15.9 feet.
  - The river is rising.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 17.7
    feet Wednesday evening. It will then fall below flood stage
    Friday evening.
  - Flood stage is 14.5 feet.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Wapsipinicon River at Independence.

* WHEN...Until tomorrow afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 12.0 feet, Water affects low-lying streets in
  Independence.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:15 PM CDT Monday the stage was 12.2 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The river is near crest.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 12.2
    feet just after midnight tonight. It will then fall below
    flood stage tomorrow morning.
  - Flood stage is 12.0 feet.

* WHERE...Wapsipinicon River near De Witt 4S.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, Water affects many residences along the
  river.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:30 PM CDT Monday the stage was 12.3 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The river continues to rise.
  - Forecast...The river will rise to 13.1 feet early Thursday
    morning. It will then fall Friday evening. It will rise to
    13.1 feet Sunday morning. It will then fall again but remain
    above major flood stage.
  - Flood stage is 11.0 feet.
