Rating: EF1 Estimated Peak Wind: 90 mph Path Length /statute/: 15.37 miles Path Width /maximum/: 75 yards Fatalities: 0 Injuries: 0 Start Date: 05/24/2024 Start Time: 06:55 AM CDT Start Location: 3 S Lone Tree / Johnson County / IA Start Lat/Lon: 41.4349 / -91.4309 End Date: 05/24/2024 End Time: 07:11 AM CDT End Location: 2 ENE West Liberty / Muscatine County / IA End Lat/Lon: 41.5835 / -91.2157 Survey Summary: A tornado developed south of Lone Tree in Johnson County, as evidenced by a public photo. The tornado then tracked rapidly northeast, and caused damage to outbuildings at a farm west of Nichols along Highway 22. The tornado then continue through open farm land before lifting between West Liberty and Atalissa.
