...Strong thunderstorms will impact portions of Carroll, southeastern
Jo Daviess and Stephenson Counties through 1045 PM CDT...

At 949 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from Winslow to near Argo Fay. Movement was east at
45 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Strong winds could break small tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Freeport, Mount Carroll, Lena, Lanark, Pearl City, Shannon,
Cedarville, Davis, Chadwick, Dakota, German Valley, Winslow, Rock
City, Ridott, Argo Fay, Buena Vista, Loran, Rock Grove, Oneco, and
Orangeville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until midnight CDT for northwestern
Illinois.
