...Strong thunderstorms will impact portions of east central Mercer,
southern Whiteside, east central Rock Island, western Bureau and
Henry Counties through 1015 PM CDT...

At 935 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Osborn to near Rio. Movement was northeast
at 55 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Strong winds could break small tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Kewanee, Rock Falls, Cambridge, Geneseo, Colona, Galva, Prophetstown,
Orion, Erie, Atkinson, Sheffield, Annawan, Woodhull, Tampico, New
Windsor, Alpha, Lyndon, Andover, Buda, and Hooppole.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 80 in Illinois between mile markers 9 and 46.
 Interstate 74 in Illinois between mile markers 14 and 33.
 Interstate 88 between mile markers 3 and 15, and between mile
markers 38 and 44.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until midnight CDT for north
central Illinois.
