The National Weather Service in the Quad Cities has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Stephenson County in northwestern Illinois...

* Until 1000 AM CDT.

* At 926 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
  extending from near Monticello to near Forreston, moving east at 45
  mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Freeport, Lena, Pearl City, Cedarville, Davis, Dakota, German
  Valley, Winslow, Rock City, Ridott, Buena Vista, Rock Grove, Oneco,
  Orangeville, Eleroy, Damascus, Mc Connell, Scioto Mills,
  Winneshiek, and Stephenson  County Fairgrounds.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
sturdy building.
