The National Weather Service in the Quad Cities has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Eastern Whiteside County in northwestern Illinois...
  Eastern Henry County in northwestern Illinois...
  Bureau County in north central Illinois...

* Until 830 PM CDT.

* At 745 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
  extending from near Atkinson to near German Corner to near Kewanee,
  moving northeast at 60 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Sterling, Kewanee, Rock Falls, Princeton, Geneseo, Prophetstown,
  Walnut, Wyanet, Atkinson, Sheffield, Annawan, Tampico, La Moille,
  Buda, Hooppole, Deer Grove, Emerson, Ohio, Neponset, and Yorktown.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 80 in Illinois between mile markers 18 and 58.
 Interstate 88 between mile markers 31 and 44.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
sturdy building.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 900 PM CDT for northwestern
Illinois. A Tornado Watch also remains in effect until midnight CDT
for north central Illinois.
