At 744 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from Colesburg to near Dyersville to near Monticello Municipal Airport, moving northeast at 70 mph. HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Trained weather spotters. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings. Locations impacted include... Dyersville, Farley, Earlville, Hopkinton, Delhi, New Vienna, Colesburg, Worthington, Holy Cross, Ryan, Luxemburg, Rickardsville, Delaware, Balltown, Bankston, Bankston Park, Cottage Hill, Finley`s Landing Park, New Wine Park, and Waupeton. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 900 PM CDT for northeastern and east central Iowa. This is a DANGEROUS SITUATION.
