COUNTY IS CANCELLED...

The severe thunderstorm which prompted the warning has moved out of
the warned area. Therefore, the warning has been cancelled.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for northeastern
Kansas...and northwestern and west central Missouri.

...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 330 PM CDT
FOR SOUTHEASTERN BUCHANAN...SOUTHWESTERN CLINTON...NORTHWESTERN CLAY
AND NORTHEASTERN PLATTE COUNTIES...

At 316 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Edgerton, or 7
miles south of Gower, moving northeast at 70 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
         roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Smithville, Platte City, Plattsburg, Weston, Gower, Trimble,
Edgerton, Dearborn, Camden Point, Tracy, Farley, Ridgely, Beverly,
Hoover, and East Leavenworth.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 29 between mile markers 14 and 31.
 Interstate 435 between mile markers 27 and 34.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for northeastern
Kansas...and northwestern and west central Missouri.
