.DISCUSSION...
The early season heat wave continues through today. RH values
will drop below 30 percent across the far western areas along the
Rio Grande where fuels remain critically dry. Winds speeds should
remain below 15 mph, however. A few storms are possible this
afternoon/evening, and low to medium chances for storms will
continue through the end of the work week. Currently, Tuesday and
Wednesday appear to possibly have the greatest coverage of
storms. Regardless, increased cloud cover and possibly some rain
cooled air should help keep temperatures closer to normal this
week as well as keep minimum RH above 30%.
