...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of northwestern Travis,
northwestern Blanco, northeastern Gillespie, Llano and southwestern
Burnet Counties through 800 PM CDT...

At 719 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Oxford, or 12 miles southwest of Kingsland, moving south at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Fredericksburg, Burnet, Marble Falls, Kingsland, Llano, Round
Mountain, Buchanan Dam, Gainesville, Lago Vista, Granite Shoals,
Horseshoe Bay, Meadowlakes, Buchanan Lake Village, Highland Haven,
Castell, Inks Lake State Park, Spicewood, Blowout, Bluffton, and
Stolz.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for
south central Texas.
