...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of Val Verde County
through 745 PM CDT...

At 659 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7
miles northeast of Shumla, or 15 miles east of Langtry, moving east
at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Del Rio, Comstock, Juno, Loma Alta, Langtry, Lake View, Pandale,
Amistad Acres, Laughlin AFB, Shumla, Cienegas Terrace, Amistad
Village, Black Brush Point, Pumpville, Seminole Canyon State Park,
Box Canyon, Val Verde Park, Diablo East, Governors Landing, and Long
Point.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM CDT for
south central Texas.
