...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of southwestern
Caldwell, southwestern Hays, central Guadalupe and eastern Comal
Counties through 1130 PM CDT...

At 1051 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Canyon Lake, or over Canyon Lake Dam, moving southeast at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
New Braunfels, San Marcos, Seguin, Wimberley, Canyon Lake Dam, Canyon
Lake, McQueeney, Martindale, Kingsbury, Staples, Smithson Valley,
Fentress, Geronimo, Zorn, Startzville, Reedville, Redwood, Freiheit,
Solms, and Hunter.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
