...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of south central Val
Verde County through 615 PM CDT...

At 529 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7
miles south of Seminole Canyon State Park, or 11 miles southwest of
Comstock, moving east at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Box Canyon, Amistad Acres, Seminole Canyon State Park, Salem Point,
Spur 406 Campground, and Rock Quarry Campground.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

If on or near Lake Amistad, get out of the water and move indoors or
inside a vehicle. Remember, lightning can strike out to 10 miles
from the parent thunderstorm. If you can hear thunder, you are close
enough to be struck by lightning. Move to safe shelter now! Do not
be caught on the water in a thunderstorm.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for
south central Texas.
