.DISCUSSION...

Good morning, Mike. Benign weather conditions are expected at the
burn site today due to the influence of surface high pressure
centered to the east of Georgia. Temperatures at the burn site will
be in the 80s through the afternoon, up to a high of 87 degrees.
Some passing upper level clouds will be present this morning, with
scattered clouds between 3000-5000 ft developing late this morning
into the afternoon. Relative humidity values at ignition time will
be just over 80 percent, and drop to below 60 percent by noon as
temperatures rise. Minimum RH values will drop to a minimum to 45
percent around 4-5 PM this afternoon. 20 ft winds will be from S at
2 mph at ignition time, increasing to 3 mph by 11 AM and to 5 mph by
1 PM and through much of the afternoon. Transport winds will be SE
at 3 mph at ignition time, becoming S at 5-6 mph by 11 AM and S at 7
mph by 3 PM. 20 ft winds and transport winds will diminish to S at 3
mph or less after 8 PM and into the overnight hours.

LVORI values at the burn site will steadily through the overnight
hours, increasing to as high as 6 between 5 AM and 8 AM on Thursday
morning. With RH values mainly staying under 90 percent, the
development of fog at the burn site overnight appears to be unlikely
at this time. Please feel free to contact us if you have any further
questions or concerns.
