...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of northwestern
Catoosa, north central Walker and northeastern Dade Counties through
230 PM EDT...

At 201 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was over Chickamauga, or 9 miles
east of Trenton, moving east at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Up to 40 mph wind, pea sized hail and frequent cloud to
         ground lightning.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect minor damage to tree limbs and blowing around of
         light, unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Fort Oglethorpe, Chickamauga, Chattanooga Valley, Fairview, Boynton,
Noble, Chattanooga  Valley, Blue Spring, Cooper Heights, Rock Spring,
and Indian Springs.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

People outdoors should seek shelter immediately. If you can hear
thunder, you are close enough to be struck by lightning.
