...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of western Muscogee,
west central Chattahoochee and south central Harris Counties through
730 PM EDT...
At 645 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was near Bleecker, or near
Smiths, moving east at 15 mph.
HAZARD...Winds up to 40 mph, up to penny sized hail and heavy rain.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect minor damage to tree limbs and blowing around of
light, unsecured objects. Heavy rain may cause temporary
street flooding especially in poor drainage areas.

Columbus, Bibb City, Goat Rock Lake, Saint Marys Hills, Edgewood,
Flat Rock, Highland Park, Laurel Hills, Green Island Hills, Sand
Hill, Battle Park, Vista Terrace, Columbus Metropolitan Airport, Rose
Hill, Kenwood, Custer Road Terrace, Benning Hills, Avondale, Benning
Park, and Fortson.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
People outdoors should seek shelter immediately. Motorists should
slow down and be prepared for possible loss of control due to
hydroplaning.
