...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of northeastern Floyd,
southwestern Whitfield, southeastern Walker, northwestern Gordon and
northeastern Chattooga Counties through 430 PM EDT...

At 344 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was over Subligna, or 9 miles
east of Summerville, moving northeast at 15 mph.

HAZARD...40 mph wind and heavy rain.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect minor damage to tree limbs and blowing around of
         light, unsecured objects. Heavy rain may cause temporary
         street flooding especially in poor drainage areas.

Locations impacted include...
Calhoun, Trion, Resaca, Mill Creek, Subligna, Suttles Mill, Villanow,
Sugar Valley, Everett Springs, and Lake Marvin.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

People outdoors should seek shelter immediately. Motorists should
slow down and be prepared for possible loss of control due to
hydroplaning.
