...Strong thunderstorms will impact portions of northern Paulding,
Floyd, northern Hall, Gordon, southern Chattooga, Cherokee, Forsyth,
northern Haralson, northern Cobb, Lumpkin, southern Gilmer, southern
White, Dawson, north central Fulton, Polk, Pickens and Bartow
Counties through 630 AM EDT...

At 558 AM EDT, a line of strong thunderstorms was along a line
extending from near Nimblewill to White to near Cave Spring, and
moving southeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD...40 to 50 mph wind, pea sized hail and frequent cloud to
         ground lightning.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect minor damage to tree limbs and blowing around of
         light, unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Marietta, Rome, Gainesville, Canton, Cartersville, Calhoun, Dallas,
Cedartown, Cumming, Dahlonega, Jasper, Cleveland, Dawsonville,
Mountain Park, Roswell, Alpharetta, Milton, Kennesaw, Woodstock, and
Acworth.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

People outdoors should seek shelter immediately. If you can hear
thunder, you are close enough to be struck by lightning.
