...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of northern Fayette,
central Douglas, southwestern Fulton and Clayton Counties through
1100 AM EDT...

At 1032 AM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was near Bill Arp, or 7 miles
southwest of Douglasville, moving east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Up to 40 mph wind, pea sized hail and frequent cloud to
         ground lightning.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect minor damage to tree limbs and blowing around of
         light, unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Atlanta, Douglasville, Fayetteville, Jonesboro, City of South Fulton,
East Point, Union City, Forest Park, Riverdale, College Park,
Fairburn, Tyrone, Morrow, Hapeville, Palmetto, Lake City,
Chattahoochee Hills, Hartsfield-Jackson Airport, Bill Arp, and
Winston.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

People outdoors should seek shelter immediately. If you can hear
thunder, you are close enough to be struck by lightning.
