...Strong thunderstorms will impact portions of DeKalb, Gwinnett,
northwestern Clarke, Hall, Jackson, Newton, Rockdale, northwestern
Oconee, Barrow, Forsyth, southeastern Lumpkin, Banks, southern White,
Walton and southeastern Dawson Counties through 1115 AM EDT...

At 1048 AM EDT, a line of strong thunderstorms was along a line
extending from near Murrayville to Scottdale, and moving southeast at
40 mph.

HAZARD...Up to 40 mph wind, pea sized hail and frequent cloud to
         ground lightning.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect minor damage to tree limbs and blowing around of
         light, unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Atlanta, Gainesville, Lawrenceville, Decatur, Conyers, Winder,
Monroe, Covington, Jefferson, Commerce, Cumming, Dahlonega,
Cleveland, Watkinsville, Homer, Peachtree Corners, Sandy Springs,
Dunwoody, Duluth, and Sugar Hill.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

People outdoors should seek shelter immediately. If you can hear
thunder, you are close enough to be struck by lightning.
