Today should be mostly dry, but scattered showers and thunderstorms develop later tonight, especially near and west of Interstate 29. Severe weather is not expected with this activity, though stronger storms late tonight may produce small hail. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday. Showers and thunderstorms advance eastward through the day Tuesday, exiting east of U.S. Highway 71 by Tuesday evening. A few strong to severe storms are possible Tuesday afternoon and early evening, with a Level 1 out of 5 risk for severe storms along and east of the Iowa and Minnesota state Highway 60 corridor (Sioux City to Sheldon to Worthington). Large hail up to half dollar size and isolated wind gusts to 60 mph are the primary hazards. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotter activation is not expected at this time. $$
