Survey Summary:

A tornado touched down near the intersection of Highway 3 and 70th
Avenue in rural Buena Vista County. The tornado tracked to the
northeast for 1.64 miles before dissipating near the intersection of
520th Street and 70th Avenue. Along its path, the tornado impacted
three farmsteads.

Roof panels of an outbuilding were blown off at the first farmstead,
along with damage to trees. At the second farmstead, the roof of a
single family home was torn off and the garage was shifted off its
foundation. Additional tree damage was observed. Trees were broken or
uprooted at the third farmstead, along with a blown in garage door and
damaged grain bins.

The tornado was rated EF1 with a maximum estimated wind speed of
110 mph and width of 75 yards. No injuries or fatalities were reported.
