...FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT THROUGH FRIDAY EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.

* WHERE...Portions of north central and northeast Texas, including
  the following counties, in north central Texas, Collin, Cooke,
  Dallas, Denton, Fannin, Grayson, Hunt, Jack, Kaufman, Montague,
  Palo Pinto, Parker, Rockwall, Stephens, Tarrant, Wise and Young.
  In northeast Texas, Delta, Hopkins, Lamar, Rains and Van Zandt.

* WHEN...Through Friday evening.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - Additional rainfall of 1 to 2 inches, with isolated higher
    amounts up to 3 inches.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood
Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared
to take action should flooding develop.
