...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 230 PM CDT THIS
AFTERNOON FOR WEST CENTRAL CORYELL, SOUTHWESTERN HAMILTON, NORTH
CENTRAL LAMPASAS AND SOUTHERN MILLS COUNTIES...

At 104 PM CDT, Emergency management reported flooding ongoing south
of Evant. The worst flooding is expected for areas along and south
of highway 84 between Goldthwaite and Evant. Life threatening flash
flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding.

SOURCE...Emergency management reported.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
         urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Goldthwaite, Evant, Center City, Star, Moline, Bee House, Pearl
  and Regency.

The heavy rain has largely come to an end, however it will take
several hours for flood waters to recede and,or move downstream.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Dangerous flash flooding is occurring or is imminent! Do not attempt
to travel unless you are fleeing flood waters. If you are in an area
subject to flooding, move to higher ground now.

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
