The National Weather Service in Fort Worth has extended the

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Cooke County in north central Texas...

* Until 330 PM CDT.

* At 117 PM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
  heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain
  fell earlier today, and additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 1.5
  inches are possible over the next hour or so. Flash flooding is
  ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Radar and automated gauges.

  IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
           highways, streets, and underpasses as well as other
           poor drainage and low lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Gainesville, Muenster, Lindsay, Callisburg, Hubert H Moss Lake,
  Lake Kiowa, Lake Muenster, Ray Roberts Park Johnson Branch, Lake
  Texoma, Road Runner, Valley View, Oak Ridge, Walnut Bend, Prairie
  Point, Leo, Myra, Era, Lois, Hood and Burns.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
