* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Dallas County in north central Texas...
  Ellis County in north central Texas...
  Hood County in north central Texas...
  Johnson County in north central Texas...
  Parker County in north central Texas...
  Northern Somervell County in north central Texas...
  Tarrant County in north central Texas...

* Until 230 AM CDT.

* At 1130 PM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
  thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between
  1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of
  1 to 3 inches are possible. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected
  to begin shortly.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Radar and automated gauges.

  IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
           highways, streets, and underpasses as well as other
           poor drainage and low lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Dallas, Fort Worth, Arlington, Garland, Irving, Grand Prairie,
  Mesquite, Mansfield, Rowlett, Euless, Desoto, Bedford, Grapevine,
  Cedar Hill, Haltom City, Keller, Duncanville, Hurst, Burleson and
  Lancaster.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
