...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 5 PM CDT THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive
  rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Portions of Coryell and McLennan Counties.

* WHEN...Until 500 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
  and flood-prone locations is ongoing or imminent. Numerous roads
  remain closed due to flooding. It will take several hours for all
  the water from these storms to work through drainage systems.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms has
    come to an end, however it will take several hours for flood
    waters to recede. Flooding is already occurring in parts of
    the warned area.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Waco, Gatesville, Hewitt, Robinson, Bellmead, Woodway, Lacy-
    Lakeview, McGregor, Beverly Hills, Lorena, Crawford, Fort
    Gates, Lake Waco, Oglesby, South Mountain, Osage, Arnett,
    Harbin, Coryell City and Leon Junction.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
