...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 1245 PM CDT THIS AFTERNOON...
...REPLACES FLASH FLOOD WARNING...

* WHAT...Urban area and small stream flooding caused by excessive
  rainfall.

* WHERE...A large portion of North Texas including Collin, Dallas,
  Denton, Kaufman, Rockwall, Tarrant, and Wise counties.

* WHEN...Until 1245 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
  and flood-prone locations is ongoing.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - Heavy rain fell across the region this morning, and flooding
    is ongoing. Between 2 and 4.5 inches of rain have fallen, and
    light rain will persist for a few hours.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Dallas, Fort Worth, Arlington, Plano, Garland, Irving, Grand
    Prairie, Mesquite, McKinney, Carrollton, Frisco, Denton,
    Richardson, Lewisville, Allen, Flower Mound, Mansfield,
    Rowlett, Euless and Desoto.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
