.DISCUSSION...
Scattered showers and thunderstorms are possible this afternoon.
All storms that form will contain occasional lightning and a few
could become strong to severe with gusty winds and hail. The
best window of time for storms will be between 3 and 6 pm.
However, storms are not guaranteed this afternoon and there is a
medium chance that most of the precipitation could stay south of
the I-20 corridor. Otherwise, it will be partly sunny, warm and
humid with highs in the middle 80s. A south wind will prevail
between 10 and 15 mph with some gusts near 25 mph.
