.DISCUSSION...
Scattered thunderstorms are expected this afternoon that may
impact the event. Some of the storms will be severe, with large
hail being the primary threat. There is a lower risk of damaging
wind gusts and possibly a tornado as well.

Storms should develop between 3-5 PM north to northwest of Flower
Mound, then move east and southeast through the late afternoon and
evening. There is a 30-40% chance of storms directly impacting the
event, and a higher chance of storms being close enough to hear
thunder. Most of the storms will move south/east after 8 PM, with
a low chance of lingering lightning activity through about 10 PM.
After the storms move south/east (or if fortunate enough to have
the storms miss the area entirely), warm and humid weather is
expected.
