If conditions become unrepresentative...contact the National Weather Service. .DISCUSSION... Scattered thunderstorms are expected this afternoon that may impact the event. Some of the storms will be severe, with large hail being the primary threat. There is a lower risk of damaging wind gusts and possibly a tornado as well. Storms should develop between 3-5 PM north to northwest of Flower Mound, then move east and southeast through the late afternoon and evening. There is a 30-40% chance of storms directly impacting the event, and a higher chance of storms being close enough to hear thunder. Most of the storms will move south/east after 8 PM, with a low chance of lingering lightning activity through about 10 PM. After the storms move south/east (or if fortunate enough to have the storms miss the area entirely), warm and humid weather is expected. .REST OF TONIGHT...
