Multiple teams from the National Weather Service office in Fort Worth TX will conduct storm surveys in Montague, Cooke, Denton, and Collin counties on Sunday, May 26, 2024. The survey is in relation to the supercell thunderstorm that moved through North Texas tonight. A final assessment including results of the survey are expected to be completed and transmitted via a Public Information Statement by late Sunday afternoon. A major contribution to the success of our severe weather warning program is the receipt of storm reports from all of our customers and partners. If you witnessed or are aware of any storm damage due to high winds or tornadoes, please contact your local emergency management office or send us pictures at: sr-fwd.webmaster@noaa.gov. $$
