...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 800 PM CDT
FOR NORTHEASTERN HUNT...CENTRAL HOPKINS AND DELTA COUNTIES...
At 719 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Commerce,
moving east at 35 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.
This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
northeastern Hunt, central Hopkins and Delta Counties, including the
following locations... Neylandville, Weaver, Tira, New Birthright,
Ridgeway, Pacio, Fairlie, Flora, Ben Franklin, and Pecan Gap.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 800 PM CDT for north central
Texas.
Heavy rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to flash
flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
