...A TORNADO WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 815 AM CDT FOR
SOUTHEASTERN VAN ZANDT AND NORTH CENTRAL HENDERSON COUNTIES...
At 744 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located near Van, or 11 miles southeast of Canton, moving east at
40 mph.
HAZARD...Tornado and golf ball size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.
IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage
to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is
likely.
This dangerous storm will be near...
Edom around 750 AM CDT.
Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include
Redland, Ben Wheeler, Primrose, Oakland, Martins Mill, Colfax, and
Murchison.
