Regional Weather Summary

This is the regional weather summary for the eastern two-thirds
of Montana, southern Saskatchewan, and western North Dakota.

Today will start off partly cloudy, but a cold front will spark
off afternoon showers and thunderstorms and move them across the
region. Some of these storms could be strong to severe with
damaging winds, large hail, and excessive rainfall especially
near the Montana Dakota border. Highs will range the lower 60s
over central Montana mountains to the mid 80s over eastern Montana
and western North Dakota.

Tonight, showers and thunderstorms with some being severe will
continue into the evening in eastern Montana and western North
Dakota.After midnight storms should clear to the east and only
light rain showers should be left. Lows will stretch from the mid
30s over the central Montana mountains to the lower 50s over
eastern montana and western North Dakota.

Thursday, a line of wrap around rain showers will move across
northern Montana and southern Saskatchewan while southern Montana
should remain dry. Expect gusty west winds area wide. Highs will
span the mid 50s in the central Montana mountains to the mid 60s
over the Montana and Dakota Plains.
