This is the regional weather summary for the eastern two-thirds
of Montana, southern Saskatchewan, and western North Dakota.

Today, An upper ridge building across the region will bring
warmer temperatures and dry weather. Highs will range from the
lower 80s in the west to the upper 60s in the western North
Dakota.

Tonight, A front will begin to move across central Montana
bringing rain showers to the region overnight. Across eastern
montana and western North Dakota conditions will remain dry with
slowly increasing cloud coverage. Low swill stretch from the upper
40s over the central, Montana mountains and western North Dakota
to the upper 50s over the Missouri Breaks.

Wednesday, The front will slide through eastern Montana bringing
widespread showers and thunderstorms. Some thunderstorms will
become severe with large hail, damaging winds, and perhaps
excessive rainfalls, especially during the late afternoon hours
into the night. Highs will span the mid 60s over central Montana
to the mid 80s over eastern Montana and western North Dakota.
