Once the area of showers and thunderstorms pushes through and east
of the area tonight...dry conditions are expected for Friday. Should
see mostly sunny skies for Friday...with gusty northwest winds
around 20 to 30 MPH. High temperatures reach the mid 60s to mid 70s.
The upcoming weekend will have the potential to be active...with a
couple of upper level disturbances expected to cross the Plains.
This will bring thunderstorm chances back into the forecast for both
Saturday and Sunday...and storms on Saturday will have the potential
to be strong to severe. For Memorial Day itself...outside of a small
chance for lingering precipitation in the morning...the day looks
dry. Highs are in the 70s...with northwesterly winds around 10 to 20
MPH.
