...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN MERRICK AND POLK
COUNTIES THROUGH 1100 PM CDT...

At 1035 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from near Silver Creek to
Clarks. Movement was northeast at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Central City, Stromsburg, Osceola, Shelby, Clarks, and Silver Creek.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 100 AM CDT for
south central, central and east central Nebraska.
