...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT MITCHELL...SOUTHEASTERN ROOKS...
JEWELL...SMITH...OSBORNE AND SOUTH CENTRAL NUCKOLLS COUNTIES THROUGH
215 AM CDT...

At 131 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Bostwick to near Codell. Movement was east
at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Strong thunderstorms will be near...
  Osborne, Natoma, Burr Oak, and Portis around 135 AM CDT.
  Mankato and Webber around 140 AM CDT.
  Downs and Ionia around 145 AM CDT.
  Hardy and Lovewell State Park around 150 AM CDT.

Other locations in the path of these storms include Cawker City and
Montrose.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 400 AM CDT for
north central Kansas...and south central Nebraska.
