...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN NANCE...NORTHERN
YORK...HAMILTON...MERRICK...POLK...SOUTHEASTERN HOWARD AND HALL
COUNTIES THROUGH 300 AM CDT...

At 218 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from near Wood River to Shelby.
Movement was northeast at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Strong thunderstorms will be near...
  Grand Island, Stromsburg, Osceola, Shelby, Alda, Polk, Chapman,
  Marquette, and Hordville around 225 AM CDT.
  Central City around 230 AM CDT.

This includes Interstate 80 between mile markers 293 and 342.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 700 AM CDT for
south central, central and east central Nebraska.
