WEBSTER...PHELPS...WESTERN ADAMS...KEARNEY...BUFFALO...SOUTHEASTERN
SHERMAN...SOUTHEASTERN DAWSON...HARLAN AND SOUTHWESTERN HALL COUNTIES
THROUGH 400 AM CDT...

At 322 AM CDT, an automated weather station reported a cluster of
strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 6 miles south of
Sumner to near Funk to near Woodruff. Movement was east at 50 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.

SOURCE...Automated Weather Station.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Strong thunderstorms will be near...
  Alma, Elm Creek, Odessa, Orleans, Funk, Huntley, and Ragan around
  325 AM CDT.
  Axtell, Wilcox, Amherst, and Miller around 330 AM CDT.
  Kearney, Riverdale, Republican City, and Harlan County Dam around
  335 AM CDT.
  Minden, Hildreth, and Naponee around 340 AM CDT.

Other locations in the path of these storms include Pleasanton,
Bloomington, Gibbon, Franklin, Upland, Heartwell and Norman.

This includes Interstate 80 between mile markers 243 and 302.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 700 AM CDT for
north central Kansas...and south central and central Nebraska.
