...THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR CENTRAL MERRICK COUNTY IS
CANCELLED...

The storms which prompted the warning have moved out of the warned
area. Therefore, the warning has been cancelled. Gusty winds will
still be possible.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 400 AM CDT for
south central, central and east central Nebraska.

...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 200 AM CDT
FOR EASTERN CLAY...NUCKOLLS...SOUTHEASTERN WEBSTER...YORK...EAST
CENTRAL HAMILTON...FILLMORE...THAYER AND POLK COUNTIES...

At 125 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Staplehurst to Hebron to near Lovewell State
Park, moving east at 55 mph.

HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable
         tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes,
         roofs, and outbuildings.

These severe storms will be near...
  Hebron, Milligan, Alexandria, Ohiowa, and Gilead around 130 AM
  CDT.

Other locations impacted by these severe thunderstorms include
Thayer.

This includes Interstate 80 between mile markers 341 and 364.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
