FOR NORTHWESTERN MITCHELL...SOUTHWESTERN JEWELL AND EASTERN SMITH
COUNTIES...
At 846 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Ionia to near Glen Elder, moving northeast at 30
mph.
HAZARD...Two inch hail and 60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind
damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Cawker City, Glen Elder, and Ionia.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 100 AM CDT for north central
Kansas.
