This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska...
northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY...

There is marginal to slight risk for severe thunderstorms Thursday
afternoon and evening east of Highway 27 in northwest Kansas and
southwest Nebraska. Stronger storms will be capable of producing
large hail and damaging winds.

Elevated to near critical fire weather conditions are possible west
of Highway 27 Thursday afternoon due to low humidity and southwest
winds gusting up to 25 mph.

A cold front Thursday night could be accompanied by northwest winds
gusting up to 40 to 50 mph at times.

For the holiday weekend, there will be a chance for storms both
Saturday and Sunday, with severe storms possible.
