RAWLINS...NORTHERN DECATUR AND NORTHERN SHERMAN COUNTIES IN
NORTHWESTERN KANSAS...RED WILLOW AND HITCHCOCK COUNTIES IN
SOUTHWESTERN NEBRASKA THROUGH 930 PM MDT/1030 PM CDT/...

At 845 PM MDT/945 PM CDT/, Doppler radar was tracking strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from 6 miles southeast of
Palisade to 11 miles southeast of Stratton to 3 miles northwest of
St. Francis. Movement was east at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Strong thunderstorms will be near...
  St. Francis and Trenton around 950 PM CDT.
  Culbertson around 955 PM CDT.

Other locations in the path of these storms include McCook, Bird City
and McDonald.

This includes Interstate 70 in Kansas between mile markers 0 and 49.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM MDT/1000
PM CDT/ for northeastern and east central Colorado...northwestern
Kansas...and southwestern Nebraska.
