...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN RED WILLOW COUNTY
THROUGH MIDNIGHT CDT...

At 1129 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 4
miles south of Medicine Creek Reservoir State Recreation Area, or 21
miles northeast of McCook, moving east at 55 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of northeastern Red
Willow County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until midnight CDT for
southwestern Nebraska.
