...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN YUMA AND NORTH
CENTRAL KIT CARSON COUNTIES THROUGH 715 PM MDT...

At 639 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 5
miles northeast of Cope, or 27 miles south of Yuma, moving east at 30
mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of southwestern Yuma
and north central Kit Carson Counties, including the following
locations... Joes, Kirk, and Abarr.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM MDT for
northeastern and east central Colorado.
