...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN NORTON COUNTY
THROUGH 145 PM CDT...

At 121 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 5
miles northwest of Almena, or 8 miles northeast of Norton, moving
northeast at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of northeastern Norton
County, including the following locations... Calvert.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall with this storm may lead to localized flooding,
especially in areas that already received significant rainfall this
morning. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
