...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT EASTERN CHEYENNE AND SOUTHEASTERN
KIT CARSON COUNTIES IN EAST CENTRAL COLORADO...WALLACE AND GREELEY
COUNTIES IN WEST CENTRAL KANSAS THROUGH MIDNIGHT MDT...

At 1120 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from 14 miles southeast of
Burlington to 10 miles east of Cheyenne Wells. Movement was east at
35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Strong thunderstorms will be near...
  Weskan around 1130 PM MDT.

Other locations in the path of these storms include Sharon Springs.

This includes Highway 385 between mile markers 172 and 179.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
